Betesha Bloise is a Dominican multidisciplinary visual artist, designer, and illustrator. Her early affinity for art was channeled into formal, traditional artistic training, where she developed figurative skills with a focus on portraiture at Eliosnet Escuela de Arte.
She holds an Illustration AAS from Altos de Chavón School of Design, graduating as Valedictorian in 2023. Betesha received a scholarship to attend a Parsons Summer Program in 2022, and was later awarded the Special Parsons Chavón Scholarship, currently embarking on a BFA at Parsons The New School as part of the class of 2026.
Her work explores the inner landscapes of the self and our relationship to ourselves as individual beings, delving into the construct of personal identity and its development through the lens of childhood, and the “roles” we create relate to ourselves and outwards to the world.
She has been featured in collective exhibitions at venues such as the Catalonia Hotel, as part of the “Hilvanando Ilusiones” expositions by the Escuela de Arte Eliosnet.
While Betesha has been actively developing her art with drawings and painting, she has also managed and developed graphic and illustrative projects for clients in editorial publishing, advertising, branding, and event management.
